D'ANTICHE TERRE

D'ANTICHE TERRE

D’Antiche Terre began in 1989 with 40 hectares of land in Avellino, and later started producing its own wine. By 1993, with its first 35,000 bottles produced, D’Antiche Terre was receiving a great deal of critical acclaim. Gaetano Ciccarella and his associates are moved by the passion to make wine as it was made in their region 2,000 years ago, when Virgil and Pliny exalted Fiano d’Avellino and Greco di Tufo. It is the pride and the knowledge of that time that guides their work.

The Wines....

Fiano d'Avellino

Fiano d'Avellino is a harmonious wine that has a clear straw color, with reflections of emerald. It has a delicate and pleasant perfume, with typical fruity flavors that are dry and velvety to the palate. Its name derives from the Larin apis-Apiano-Fiano, which is the sweetness of grapes that are attracted by bees.
